Emerald Presbyterian Church meets at 9:30am on Sundays at the Emerald North State School Hall (entrance is from Borilla St). We hope you will join us and be encouraged!

Our services are operating under the COVID Safe Industry Plan for Places of Worship in Queensland – Stage 3. They will look a little different to how you may be used to church running so please take the time to read our guidelines before coming to church so you know what to expect.

During the service we worship God by singing, praying, reading the Bible and listening to it explained. We also think that relationships with one another are an important part of our worship so please stick around after the service to chat with someone else.

During school terms we run a children’s program for lower primary aged kids (generally 4-8 years old) in the second half of the service where Bible teaching is presented in an age appropriate way by mature Christian leaders. Our COVID-19 guidelines for our children’s program can be found here.

We also run a youth program on Friday nights for high school aged youth (grades 7-12, including grade 6 in term 4). Our youth program COVID-19 guidelines are available here.

We are completely committed to this church being a safe place for children and the vulnerable. Everyone involved in leadership of a kids or youth program holds a Bluecard (Queensland Government working with children check) and have completed PresSafe training (Presbyterian Church of Queensland’s training for safe ministry with children).

If you have any questions about who we are, what we believe or what we do please get in contact with us. We would love to answer your questions and hope you’ll let us get to know you a bit.
